Over the course of Voyage to the Bay 2006 each of us created journals that reflected our experience and personalities. Some chose to describe each day in minute detail, others concentrated on the technical aspects of rapids, distances, portages and the like, while Naomi was able to capture the essence of each day as it passed and provide a little snapshot of our lives.

The journal entries that you will find here are unedited, but they will give you an excellent idea of our adventures during the summer. Keep checking back frequently as we are beginning to create trip reports for the various sections of the trip. These will feature more specific information on portage locations and conditions, descriptions of rapids, and other important bits that spring into our minds. Many thanks to Anita Delafield for typing this journal into electronic reality.
