Special Events:
Throughout the course of the actual
expedition we are actively searching for means to contribute to, and
participate in the communities through which we will be passing. Where
possible, we are working closely with Community Development offices, local
historical organizations, churches, community organizations, and previously
scheduled events in the communities we will be visiting. As several members
of Voyage to the Bay 2006 are professional musicians we will be presenting
various concerts of classical and Celtic music that will feature piano,
violin, penny whistles and assorted instruments.
These specials events and concerts will allow us to
reach a broader audience of individuals and fulfill our Mission and
Objectives.
